My sister is pretty excited that some of her friends who have been going to med school will hopefully be doctors next year once they take and pass their medical board exams. As early as now, she’s thinking of a fitting gift for her soon-to-be-doctor friends. She recently saw a medical id jewelry on a doctor she went to and she’s thinking of getting some for her friends once they are full-fledged doctors. She’s asking me to look into it and order for her if ever. Well, for as long as they’ll be giving us free check-ups why not?

Man, its hard getting ready for church, when you have to get ready for the whole day, then throw in that its playoff time…..I need a big Samsonite bag to get all of what I need for the day. Alot of times I try to figure out the lunch thing too or pack sandwiches for the ride home at night.

This past Sunday, I spent the time after church at a friend’s house, ordered pizza for the kids, and was able to watch a good portion of the 1st football game. I was actually hoping that the Seahawks would beat the Patriots, but that didn’t happen. Then by 4:30, it was time to go back to church and set for the Kidszone. Setting up sometimes is hard on the boys especially in the winter, there’s not alot for them to do until church, so they decided today to wander in the girls restroom, of course they got caught by the Pastor who was chatting with me at the time. GREAT! But the Pastor had a good talk with the boys and I don’t think they will ever do that again.

Getting back to the positive side of the day…..I am glad that I do like football as much as I do for my boys. Its fun that we actually share the love of sports and I do surprised them with what I know about who is on what team.

When I was in high school I was a BIG fan of Beverly Hills 90210. Ooppss… I think I just revealed my age! I love to watch movies too. I’m a movie freak up until today. There is something in watching movies that relaxes me, I prefer action and suspense flicks but I’m also a sucker for chick flicks. I would love to watch old movies too, I think they’re pretty cool. Which leads me to the thought of designing our attic with rare movie posters framed and up on the wall. My parents decided to make the attic as our family room so the television, karaoke and surround system were placed there but the place is dull and boring. I think the posters will lighten up the place making it more of a movie theater feel. Cool!

One time, I was at a video and music store when I asked if there was an available Meteor Garden DVD set dubbed in Filipino or with a Filipino subtitle. Unfortunately, there was none that they could give me and they’re not even selling a DVD set of the Koreanovela.

When I was ill, I had a lot of problem in letting myself rest. These were what I wondered at that time.I really wonder why these DVDs of Spanish and Korean soap operas are only subtitled in English.
