Proper way to fast and aftermath
fasting is hard, i should know, I’m currently fasting. i go to a school where the temptation of food is everywhere and at home, it’s very hard to hide. so here are a few tips to help you in the tricky world of fasting…….
water! it cleanses the body
* fasting clears the skin
*DONT WATER FAST FIRST! it can release the toxins into your blood very quickly…. start with juices and tea, for juice/veggie fasting
fresh fruit is best
*no orange juice
*no tomato juice
*dilute your juice with water sometimes..
*pure veggie broths are good (also good for purging)
DO NOT PURGE WHILE ON A FAST!!!!!*
herbal teas and honey
*headaches can occur from fasting, from lack of caffeine, so if you’re a heavy caffeine drinker(like me!) i suggest that you not drink caffeine the week before the fast
*28 + day fasts should be watched so please tell SOMEBODY that you’re going to fast
*don’t over eat after the fast.
